INTRODUCTION

PNS DARMAAN JAH the only class C hospital present at Coastal Highway from Pasni to Karachi was commissioned on 12 Sep 2011. Word DARMAAN JAH is derived from Baloch language meaning place of cure and healing. Master plan of 100 x bedded hospital has been approved in 03 x phase. 01 x phase (25 bedded) is already operational.

MISSION
To provide quality healthcare services to PN personnel including their families and local populace in order to augment functioning of JNB and promote Civil Military Relation (CMR) in AoR.

ASSIGNED TASKS:

                a. To provide medical cover and indoor/ outdoor hospital facilities to Naval personnel and non-entitled civilians of coastal area
                b. To receive and treat sick and wounded personnel of Sister Services, Para Military Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies 
                c. To deal with medical emergencies round the clock 
                d. Medical examination of civilians for enrolment in Pakistan Navy 
                f. First Aid Training and Health Education to Naval Personnel

Fortnightly visit of other specialist (Paediatrician/ Dermatologist/ ENT specialist/ Radiologist/ Psychiatrist/ Ophthalmologist) at PNS DARMAAN JAH. 


FUTURE PROJECTS:

PNeHS DARMAAN JAH:

                 Pakistan Navy has always sought to focus on improvement of quality of health care for its personnel and their families. Indigenous development of PNeHS for PN hospitals is cornerstone of this vision. PNeHS project for PNS DARMAAN is currently in implementation phase and subsequently, it will be linked with other PN Hospitals and health care centers with a single data base.

INCINERATOR:

                 Incinerator project at PNS DARMAAN JAH the most important and mandatory system for disposal of hospital waste is almost at its completion phase with EDC in Aug-22.

THALASEMIA CENTER:

                 Work progress on established of thalassemia center at PNS DARMAAN JAH is under progress and in this regard continuous correspondence with higher authorities and local NGO is being carried regularly.

CT SCAN MACHINE:

                 CT Scan Machine is under consideration for PNS DARMAAN JAH and in this regard technical survey and feasible studies are under progress in coordination with PNS SHIFA.

NMC ZINDMAAN:

                 25-bed hospital at Turbat. With the aim to provide quality medical facilities to local populace along with troops.
